Change management for a warehouse robotisation project

The innovation unit of Auchan retail logistics supports the logistics warehouses in implementing technological solutions (digital transformation, robotisation, automation...).

As part of the optimisation of its warehouses, Auchan introduced robots that help staff prepare shipments to supermarkets across France.

The project marked a change of era and a major transformation for the warehouse teams. A project manager coordinated the project as a whole (supply, technical matters, contracts...). In addition, the client wanted a dedicated resource for change management.

The innovation unit therefore called on Bloomco for the support of a change management expert. The client chose Bloomco's model for its flexibility, and because it wanted to work with an independent who could fully integrate with the teams. Compared with a traditional consulting firm, it finds Bloomco's model more agile.

Camille, an independent consultant from the Bloomco community, joined the Auchan project team to:

• Define the change management programme
• Deploy the programme close to the operators in the field and the executive committee

Following the success of this first assignment, Camille went on to lead change management for Auchan's takeover of Casino stores.
