Case study
This world leader in frozen food, focused on operational performance and on optimising its investments, operates in a context of pressure on investment capacity. One of the flagship projects of its industrial plan concerns a European site.
The aim is to design a highly innovative sorting station, with a double objective: de-risk the innovation and lock in the system's future performance, while reducing the project's cost through a Design to Value approach. Deadlines are short, with findings presented and then validated within a few months.
An expert consultant in industrial performance and complex automated logistics systems, fluent in English, is mobilised full time for three months, embedded in the project team as a senior facilitator: bringing Design to Value expertise to identify cost reduction levers, structuring and accelerating pre-engineering, locking in performance and reliability, challenging the required quality level without over-specification, contributing to the supply plan and acting as guardian of the pace towards the milestones.
