Context and objectives

As part of the optimisation of its road transport flows, the client was looking for a consultant experienced in procurement, particularly international transport. With the support of the group's international supply chain leadership, this consultant led a tender for an activity representing 6,000 trucks and a budget of 12 million euros.

Assignment

To contribute to the development of the road transport flows, Irina led the tender with transport companies:

‍Procurement leadership: running the European tender
Governance: establishing the governance bodies, including a weekly monitoring committee and committees dedicated to defining the carrier panel
Stakeholder coordination: helping define the carrier panel in coordination with the client, Import and the group's supply chain leadership
