Structuring the governance of a planning programme

Project governance in place and global schedule held
airplay

Context and objectives

This international food group, a specialist in vegetables present across multiple countries and divisions, has been transforming its integrated planning process for several years. With process standardisation complete, it is now entering the digitalisation phase with the rollout of a common tool.

The programme, launched in the United States and then extended to Europe, Eurasia and emerging markets, runs over roughly three years and intersects with a closely interdependent data project. The steering structure in place no longer met the sponsor's expectations.
